Skin definitely looked better following morning

Put some of this on my face overnight and definitely noticed my facial skin appeared fresher looking in the morning. Pretty good for only using it once (tested on a small area beforehand) Of course I'll be using this probably every night or every other night when I remember to use it lol. What I like about this product is it isn't specifically targeted at male or female so anyone can use it without feeling that they're using a product designed purely for women. I'm a male and I like to look after my skin and hyaluronic acid has gained a huge reputation for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. I'm no spring chicken either so it's important I start looking after my skin. This arrives in a box sealed with a couple of round clear sticky tabs and the tube is sealed. Rub it into the face and neck avoiding getting it into the eyes, it absorbs into the skin leaving no residue. This cream basically locks in moisture and also draws moisture in from the surrounding air to keep the skin hydrated (hygroscopic). The aging process and decline of skin involves the skin drying out so it makes sense to use a cream that keeps the skin hydrated at night when epidermal repairs are at their highest. Hyaluronic acid is known to absorb 1000 times its size with water. Wow! It smells nice as well (smells like sun tan lotion) It doesn't feel greasy on the skin either and feels like it absorbs into the skin really well. First thing this morning obviously I looked into the bathroom mirror and noticed my face looked fresher and brighter. Not bad for first time use. Hopefully after a few weeks of use I'll look 10 years younger lol.... Can only dream! Price wise this seems a tad expensive but you are getting a 50ml tube. Once this is opened it lasts for 12 months and this is marked on the box and tube. The box and tube are also both recyclable :-) Perfect for anyone who takes their skincare seriously but with any skin lotion/cream always test a small area first for any adverse reaction before using properly and if any adverse reaction is noticed then stop using immediately. Have a look at the benefits of hyaluronic acid and you'll realise that this cream is a great addition to your skincare routine.

Thick cream

This is quite a thick night cream, which I don’t have a problem with per se as I believe night creams should be more nourishing for your skin than the day versions, but this one stayed on my skin for a long time and left my skin feeling tacky and greasy. You are guided to apply after your serum and previous skin care steps (cleansing and so on). My skin felt very greasy and tacky to touch for at least a couple of hours and, after a short time of application, it began to feel very tight, such as the feeling you get when using a clay face mask, only more so. I didn’t like the sensation, although I stuck with it as it didn’t feel like an allergic reaction and that feeling had subsided by the morning. My skin did, however, still feel tacky and curiously dry, like nothing had been applied; it is a weird combination that is difficult to describe. The next night the pulling sensation had lessened but the greasy/tacky feel remained and, yet again, persisted until the morning and this was repeated for the following few nights. I am a long time user of skin care products and look after my skin, using day and night creams daily. This night cream is not something I have chosen to continue to use. I didn’t like the tightening sensation or the tacky and greasy feel of the cream which lasted overnight. I didn’t see any positive difference to the condition of my skin, except that it felt dry/tight in an unpleasant way in the morning whilst still having a tacky feel remaining from the moisturiser. I discontinued use.

Fabulous Face Cream

This cream is fabulous and I’m delighted with how easy it is to use and how much of the cream I get in the tube. It’s easy for me to dispense and I don’t have any wastage either. It applies beautifully onto my skin and absorbs really well without being greasy or oily. I like how smooth and soft my skin is after applying it and since using this nightly I’ve noticed my skin is looking much better in its appearance. I’ve got less blemishes, my skin tone is more even and smoother. It looks and feels much more hydrated too! It’s been working on the fine lines around my eyes, these are my first signs of ageing so I want to work on these. The tube is lightweight so I can easily take it with me if I go travelling or have a weekend away. I like the bright blue colour and it’s modern design. I feel it’s a very high end premium product so therefore is excellent value for money and I highly recommend it. I’ll be buying it again. The cream is pretty giftable for a loved one or skin care addict like myself. It’s not affected my sensitive skin around my eyes either so I feel it’s suitable for sensitive skin. What I like the most is that this cream does all of the hardworking whilst I’m sleeping and giving my skin maximum benefits. It’s a really great cream and I’m delighted with how well it works.

Pleasant night cream

This night cream has all the right ingredients to make it an effective product, but then again at nearly £25 for a 50ml tube it needs to be made from the right stuff. But the ingredients only make up less than half of the story, what really matters is how it feels and how effective it is. My wife is the cosmetics tester of our partnership and so I handed it over to her to get her opinion. It is relatively thick for a night cream and took some time to be absorbed, but once it is absorbed it doesn't leave any residue but it did leave her skin feeling hydrated. In the morning it did seem to have reduced some areas of puffiness and generally left her skin feeling tighter and refreshed. It will be interesting to see if after a couple of weeks of using this there is any noticeable difference from her normal night cream which is significantly cheaper.

Pricey, but works for me, so definitely worth a try.

This Skin Chemists Anti Ageing Hyaluronic Acid 1% Night Cream arrived boxed in the handy, sealed, easy to squeeze 50ml tube. It has nice consistency and is easy to apply. It absorbs well. Fragrance is very nice and pleasant, delicate and long-lasting. It protects against fine lines and wrinkles, but I already have some so I was hoping that they will be less visible/shallower after using this cream. I apply it only for the 'wrinkles' areas. I use it for a bit over 2 weeks now, and I've noticed that my skin is more elastic, better hydrated and much smoother, the fine lines are difficult to spot now. I found it expensive initially, but only a little bit is needed for one use, so this tube should last me for long. Pricey, but works for me, so definitely worth a try.
